My interest and curiosity in the human psyche started early on in my life. My search for meaning lead me to study Psychological Counselling for my BA degree. My soul journey then took me to the UK, where I did my MA in Counselling at Nottingham University. Upon completion, I have come across the creative art therapies.
Discovering drama and movement therapy brought my different passions together; expressive arts, creativity and psychotherapy, and I embarked on my second MA degree at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, and graduated as a Drama and Movement Therapist.
My commitment to deepening my practice led me to train as a Integrative & Transpersonal Psychotherapist at Re-Vision, Centre for Psychotherapy with a Soulful Perspective, one of the most respected psychotherapy training organizations within the UK. I also hold a certificate in Supervision with Soul, an integrative and transpersonal approach to supervision, a training offered by Re-Vision.
I have been working as a therapist with individuals and groups for over 15 years. I’ve worked as the Lead Therapist in counselling organisations, founded and ran the Dramatherapy service in one of the leading mental health charities of Hackney, and worked as the placement manager and supervisor of creative art therapies trainees. My experience as a therapist also includes working in psychiatric units, schools and geriatric care centres.
I am also part of the Advanced Psychotherapy Diploma training team at Re-Vision.
