I am an experienced and fully accredited Integrative & Transpersonal Psychotherapist, Counsellor and Creative Arts Therapist (MA, UKCP, HCPC).
I’ve worked as the Lead Therapist in counselling organisations, founded and ran the Dramatherapy service in one of the leading mental health charities of Hackney, and worked as the placement manager of creative therapy trainees.
I am passionate about supporting people to live from their authentic, creative and free selves, in touch with meaning and depth.
My interest and curiosity in the human psyche, in human relationships and expressive arts started very young. These interests and my search for meaning deepened and lead me to study Psychological Counselling for my BA degree in my twenties. My soul journey then took me to the UK, where I did my MA in Counselling at Nottingham University. Upon completion, I have come across the creative art therapies.
Discovering drama and movement therapy brought my different passions together; expressive arts, creativity and psychotherapy, and I embarked on my second MA degree at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, and graduated as a Drama and Movement Therapist.
My commitment to deepening my practice led me to train as a Integrative & Transpersonal Psychotherapist at Re-Vision, Centre for Psychotherapy with a Soulful Perspective, one of the most respected psychotherapy training organizations within the UK.
I have been working as a therapist with individuals and groups for over 10 years. I’ve worked as the Lead Therapist in counselling organisations, founded and ran the Dramatherapy service in one of the leading mental health charities of Hackney, and worked as the placement manager and supervisor of creative art therapies trainees. My experience as a therapist also includes working in psychiatric units, schools and geriatric care centres.
I have been a long term student of movement meditation practices; 5 Rhythms and Movement Medicine. I regularly practice meditation, write poetry and do playback theatre performances.
I am a full member of UKCP, HCPC and BADth and abide to their code of ethics. As a licensed psychotherapist, my work is supervised and I am committed to my professional development and regularly take part in trainings.
